What is Sex, Anyway?
Sex is a big word with many meanings. This session introduces the curriculum and frames curiosity about bodies as healthy and normal. Students learn that there are no silly questions and that trusted adults are a safe resource for information.

Key Ideas

  • Sex is a word that covers many things: body parts, how babies are made, feelings, and more.
  • Being curious about bodies and where babies come from is completely normal and healthy.
  • There are trusted adults (parents, teachers, doctors) who can help answer questions.
